The Young Adult Shelter has CLOSED. We are currently working to support young people through hotels/motels, diversion opportunities, a continuous stay emergency housing model, and other shelter options. If you have questions about our programs/operations, contact Brian Ahern (, 360-605-0189) and if you have questions about donations**/volunteering/being a meal partner, contact Andy Ward (, 509-834-7447).

*Due to following the CDC's guidelines on COVID-19, at this time we are only accepting NEW clothing, individually-wrapped snack items, and hygiene supplies.

Thank you to Englewood Christian Church, Dad’s House Church, and Unitarian Universalist Church for so graciously offering our Valley’s youth a safe place to find shelter and safety over these past 10 months, and thank you to all of our community partners who continually support young people!

Become a Volunteer

Whether it is helping us with projects around the house, serving a meal, or just talking to a young person about their day, volunteers are an essential part of our mission at Rod’s House. We are always looking for new volunteers who are eager to help empower youth to reach their full potential!

We also need volunteers to help us with facility maintenance, fundraising, housekeeping, organizing, sorting donations, and other projects that keep Rod’s House running smoothly. Whatever your skills are, we want to help find a way to use them to make a difference!
